Jack Jockey entertainment management booking terms and conditions, fees, insurance and payment policies.
The client is responsible for all taxation obligations associated with each job and it is the clients responsibility to have and maintain appropriate insurance to cover models during the term of the booking. Jack Jockey is at no time the employer of models but solely acts as a representative on behalf of the models.
booking service fee
Jack Jockey’s service fee is 20% of model fee. And is due at the time model is booked. Service fee is non-refundable.
payment terms
full payment is required the day of work. in all cases, the client who books the model will be responsible for all payment unless previously arranged by Jack Jockey ent. management. if a client fails to pay the amount due, they will be responsible for all expenses incurred in recovering any outstanding debt including solicitor’s costs and collection fees.
rates
Jack Jockey will quote model rates on a full day, half-day, and hourly basis. the rates apply to shoot time only and do not include usage.
usage
special types of usage including but not exclusive to video, promotions, billboards, brochures, magazine inserts, packaging and internet all require additional fees above the models shoot time rate. products such as but not limited to alcohol, swimwear and cigarettes, bras and briefs, sleepwear, and hosiery, both male and female, are charged at double the models hourly rate. nude and semi-nude are charged at three times the models hourly rate or by prior negotiation. Jack Jockey must clear with the model before accepting any nude bookings.
live events
as per quote when booking
holds and reservations
holds must be confirmed or cancelled within 48 hours. after 48 hours, holds will not apply and the model will be available to all other clients. to confirm bookings, clients must sign and return a booking confirmation sheet provided by Jack Jockey management. in some circumstances, deposits may be required upon confirmation of booking,
cancellations
if client gives less than 24 hours notice of a cancellation of booking prior to the commencement of a job, the full 100% rate will apply.
weather disruptions
• first cancellation due to weather – no fee
• second cancellation – half fee
• third cancellation – full fee
• all cancellations are a full fee if the same model is not re-booked for the job.
fittings/wardrobe
fittings are charged at half the models hourly rate
rehearsals/hair styling/ make up
full hourly rate applies.
time for travel
full hourly rate applies when outside a 5 mile radius of West Hollywood
meals
it is the clients responsibility to supply meals for models on full day assignments and assignments outside the metropolitan area.
complaints
any complaints should be reported to Jack Jockey model management as soon as possible.
public holidays and overtime
• if models are required before 8.30 am and after 5.30 pm, then time and a half the models’ hourly rate will apply.
• saturdays are charged at time and a half
• sundays and public holidays are charged at double time
• if jobs run 20 minutes over the scheduled finishing time, then time and a half per hour will be charged at the models hourly rate.
product exclusivity
it is the client’s responsibility to check with Jack Jockey model management that models booked are/have not been booked for competing products or clients. a higher fee will apply if the client wishes the model to be excluded from jobs by competing clients or products in the future.
